Instructions
In a mixing bowl, gently knead together 1 pound 80/20 ground beef, 1 large egg, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. Be careful not to overwork the meat.
Form into 4 patties, roughly 1/2 inch thick. Press your thumb down on the middle to give it a slight indent.
Set smoker temperature to 225 degrees F and place burgers directly on the well oiled grate.
Let the burgers smoke for about 1 hour until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F. No need to flip them
Once the burger is finished cooking, remove and use your patties to assemble a delicious burger on a bun of your choice with all your favorite toppings.
