Greek Yogurt Bagels

Ingredients

2 ½ cups (320g) all-purpose flour
1 ½ cups (380g) Greek yogurt
3 tsp (12g) baking powder
1 tsp (5g) salt
1 egg (, beaten)
sea salt, poppy seeds, sesame seeds or bagel blend

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375 (190C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl stir together flour with baking powder and salt.

Add yogurt, mix to combine and knead for a few minutes until you get a smooth dough.

Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces.

Roll each piece into a thick rope of about 8-9 inches (20-22cm).

Press the ends to seal them together.

Transfer the bagels to the prepared baking sheet.

Brush each bagel with beaten egg.

Sprinkle seasonings over the bagels, whether it's sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or a sprinkle of sea salt.

Bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
