Maple Mustard Glazed Ham Steak

Ingredients

2 (8 ounce) ham steaks
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons stone ground mustard
1 tablespoon salted butter (melted)

Instructions

In a bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup maple syrup, 2 tablespoons stone ground mustard and the melted 1 tablespoon salted butter. Whisk until smooth.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place one ham steak in the hot skillet and brush the top with the maple mustard mixture. Cook for 34 minutes, or until the bottom is lightly browned. Flip the ham steak, brush the other side with the mixture, and cook for another 34 minutes. Flip the steak again and cook for an additional 6090 seconds to caramelize the glaze.

Remove the ham steak from the skillet and set aside. Repeat with the second ham steak, using the remaining glaze. Serve hot.
