Ingredients

3 cups dried unsweetened coconut
14.8 ounces coconut condensed milk (2 small cans, you can substitute regular condensed milk)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional for extra flavor)
¼ cup powdered sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
12 ounces dark chocolate chips (or milk of white chocolate)
sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Coconut Mixture

Combine the shredded coconut and sweetened condensed milk in a large mixing bowl.

Add the vanilla extract and powdered sugar (if using) to the mixture. Stir until the ingredients are well combined and form a sticky dough.

Shape the Balls

Scoop a small portion of the mixture (about 1 tablespoon) and roll it between your palms to form smooth 1-inch balls. A small cookie scoop is perfect for this. 

Repeat until the mixture is used up completely. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Chill and Serve

Place the coconut balls in the refrigerator for 1520 minutes to firm up.

Serve chilled, and enjoy!

Add Decorative Coatings (Optional)

Roll the coconut balls in extra shredded coconut, cocoa powder, or sprinkles for a festive look.

Dip the balls in melted chocolate and set them on the parchment paper.

Chill until firm and then serve.
