Ingredients

1 pound fresh green beans, ends trimmed
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
½ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Rinse the green beans and pat dry. Place them on a large baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle liberally with salt and pepper and toss to coat.

Spread the green beans across the baking sheet and roast for about 12-15 minutes. They are ready to eat when they are bright green and crisp tender.
