Blackberry Cheesecake

1.5 cups graham crackers crumbs
1 cup quick cooking oats
1 cup nuts finely chopped (walnuts or pecans)
3 tbsp brown sugar
12 tbsp butter (melted)
1 8 ounce package of cream cheese, softened
1 cup of confectioners sugar
1 8 ounce container of frozen whipped topping, thawed (coolwhip)
2 cups of fresh blackberries
1/2 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1/2 cup of water

Instructions
Crust Instructions
Combine all crust ingredients. Press into 9 inch regular pie shell. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. Let cool before adding pie filling.
Cheesecake Instructions
Combine cream cheese and confectioners sugar in a bowl, mix together well. Fold in whipped topping and spread evenly into graham cracker crust. Put in fridge and let cool for around 3 hours.
Topping Instructions
Combine all topping ingredients and bring to a boil, continuously stirring so it doesn't burn. Cook for around 2 minutes to thicken. Remove from stove and let topping completely cool. Pour over cheesecake after it has been refrigerated for about 3 hours. Keep this cheesecake refrigerated.
